It's just amazing that our K12 schools get more money while losing students. The schools would get more money if they gained in student population as well. Makes no economic sense. You have made clear re the real cost of K12 vs the BSA, something I have tried to do for years. BTW, include the federal funding, transportation funding, etc and the total cost of K12 is well over $2 Billion.
They have decided that the PFD belongs to them, and not to the people. They seem to have their way with our State, and continue to make it a less worthy place to live, routinely.
It would take decades to recover, and this would be if they desired to.

The public employee unions and their beneficiaries in the AKLeg are well on their way to the goal of looting the Permanent Fund.
